Program Overview
A No-Cost Drivers Ed solution
Texas Virtual School has partnered with DriversEd.com to help schools provide an essential service to students seeking a Texas driver license and approved Texas Drivers Ed solution—at no cost to the district.  Approved by the Texas Department of Public Safety, the DriversEd.com Texas Drivers Ed course is offered all online. Through this unique partnership, students receive an additional 10% off of an already discounted price of $149.  Along with this discount, a $5 contribution will be given to both the school district and the TVS ESC Partner for each successful student completing the DriversEd.com Texas Drivers Ed course.  Taking advantage of this initiative, school districts can earn a reoccurring contribution to the school's general fund.

DriversEd.com offers the highest quality Texas parent taught drivers education course available. The Drivers Ed course is animated, with interactive quizzes and online movies. It covers the laws, regulations and defensive driving techniques necessary for navigating Texas streets and highways, providing parents all of the necessary resources to train their teens to safely and successfully acquire a Texas driver license.
